The Nil Desperandum LK235 is a 63 year old seine netter, originally built for the Ministry of Defence in 1947, it was bought a few year later in 1951 by the Wiseman family to use as a fishing vessel.

It was gifted to Shetland Amenity Trust by Jimmy Wiseman and is currently being restored and will be open to visitors in the near future. You can find this boat beside the museum at Hay's Dock.
